full-time rsvp specialist The C.E.F.S. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is currently hiring for the position of a Full-Time RSVP Specialist for Christian County. The Program Specialist position is responsible for recruiting, enrolling and supporting volunteers 55 and older in their respective county. The Program Specialist will also work with community members to establish volunteer opportunities (“Work Stations”) that meet the Retired Senior Volunteer Program guidelines. This is a new program in Christian County. Candidate must be able to meet with organizations to establish volunteer opportunities, locate volunteers to fill positions, and complete weekly reports. Training and support will be provided but candidate must be self- driven, motivated to succeed, have good follow-through and willingness to attend community events to recruit both volunteers and volunteer opportunities. Computer, Microsoft Office and data entry skills needed. Associates degree preferred; experience in marketing, human services, business will be considered in lieu of degree. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Illinois driver’s license and must meet pre-employment requirements.
