TAYLORVILLE — On Friday, July 2, 2021, the first ticket to the annual Senior Citizen’s Luncheon at the Christian County Fair was awarded to Tim Hershey. Mr. Hershey is sown in the picture receiving his ticket from Mazie Fleming of Golden Harvest and Sidney Bollinger of Stonington Fertilizer, Inc., both sponsors of the annual event. The 2021 luncheon will be held on July 21. Sponsors of the event include the Christian County Senior Center, Neal Tire, Christian COunty Seeds, Stonington Fertilizer, Inc., the Christian County Health Department, Legacy Grain, Taylorville Public LIbrary, Alpha Omega, Regions Bannk, CNB Bank, Peoples Bank, TCCU, and First National Bank.
