On July 6, 2021, Mary Evans, of Kincaid, was back- ing out of a driveway and struck a parked car. No injuries reported.
On July 7, 2021, Erick Summer was traveling north- bound on 700E Road in Buckhart Township. Summer came to the curve in the road for 1975 North and drove on to the shoulder. Summer stated that an oncoming vehicle veered towards him while negotiating the curve.
Summer over corrected caus-ing him to lose control and skid across the roadway. Summer’s vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. Summer and the passenger, Leslie Ford, had to be extract- ed from the vehicle. Summer refused medical treatment, but Ford was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
