Tickets are available from FFA members or Neal Tire. Cost is $12 and includes 1” thick pork chop, potato salad, apple sauce and all the sweet corn you can eat.

Christian County Historical Society Annual meeting
The Christian County Historical Society in Taylorville invites all to its annual meeting followed by a strawberry shortcake social and a concert by the Taylorville Municipal Band which will perform on the front lawn. Meeting begins at 5:00 pm; strawberry shortcake at 6:15; and the band will play promptly at 7:00pm. Tour Christian County’s first courthouse, enjoy sweet treats, and set up your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a fabulous summer evening concert. The public is encouraged to attend.
