Model A, T cars coming to Pana History Museum Saturday

PANA — On Saturday, about 20 antique Ford Model “A” and Model “T” cars will be meeting up at the Pana History Museum, 38 Oak St., in downtown Pana. Some vehicles from as far away as Effingham.
They will be gathering about 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One of the highlights will be a question and answer session with former Pana car dealership owner and auto expert, Charlie Downs. The Downs family is synonomis with the history of the Pana auto retail sales and repairs.
Mike Cross, with the Pana History Museum, said the 40 MPH Club from Taylorville is also attending the event.
In addition, the museum is open from 7:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturdays, the same hours of the Brew’n Hope Coffeehouse, which is located right next door to the museum.
