TAYLORVILLE — Due to the Christian County Fair being held this week, the location of the Taylorville Municipal Band Concert on Wednesday July 21 will be at the Christian County Historical Society on East Route 29 in Taylorville. Instead of a full concert band, this week’s concert will feature the swinging sounds of the Taylorville Municipal “Big Band” Ensemble – presenting music from the era of the big bands. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Next week, the Taylorville Municipal Band will return to the Christian County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 28 to present their annual Children’s Concert at 7:00 p.m.
