Wild driver
After much thought, I am directing this comment to the young man driving the navy blue mustang just North of Stonington yesterday afternoon (14th) on Rt. 48. I was driving the pick up truck you directed your road rage at. I still don’t know what I did to make you so mad but you definitely need some anger management classes. I have been driving many years and have never encountered that. I didn’t even know you were behind me until you were passing me laying on the horn. And then you slammed on the brakes twice in hopes I would rear end you. Your mother would be so proud — not! LIke I said, anger management classes. Think about it. Lucky for you I failed to get your license number. It might have been a different story. THe only reason I decided not to write a letter to the editor and singing my name is because I don’t need you coming at me again!
Take over
I think the Speak Out column when it was first initiated was a positive thing. Since it has been co-opted by a few rabid partisan leftists it has been a chore just to read. If it means that you keep printing 90 percent leftist garbage I think it is has become a relic and should be stopped. Let the people go to CNN to get their fix…
Abandoned faith
What do Franklin Graham, Pat Robertson, Adam Jeffries, Mike Huckabee, and Jerry Falwell have in common, along with 80% of Evangelicals. They have abandoned Christianity and became “conservatives.
Sorry; but what is the difference between Speak out and Letter to the Editor?
A Speak Out is completely anonymous and has no name signed to it. A Letter to the Editor must have the writer sign their name.
