TAYLORVILLE — The Taylorville fall junior high programs will begin tryouts next week and into the following week as well. All students must have a physical before participation.
Softball tryouts will begin on July 26 and are open to girls entering sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. For more information, contact head coach Kenny Stewart at (217) 820-9973.
Baseball tryouts will begin August 2 at the high school baseball field. Tryouts are open to boys entering sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. For more information, con- tact head coach Brian Sample at (217) 827-5829.
Cross Country tryouts will also begin August 2. Boys and girls entering fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth grade are eligible to participate. For more information, contact head coach Chad Sutton via email at csut83@yahoo.com.
