Pana Arrests
July 20:
Justin Orange, Taylorville, was arrested by Pana Police for theft.
Christine Norris, Taylorville, was arrested by CCSO for domes- tic battery.
Accidents
On July 19, 2021, Celsey Emerson was eastbound on County Highway 6 in Assumption Township. Celsey stated she lost control of the vehicle, drove off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Her 2002 Hyundai sustained major damage. Celsey was transported by private vehicle to the hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Celsey was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and illegal transportation of alcohol.
