NOTICE OF SURPLUS
Please take notice that the City of Pana has authorized the sale of the following described property. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The property is currently zoned for residential use and is used for residential purposes. The approximate size of the property is 0.19 acres. Interested parties must submit sealed bids in the office of the City Clerk on or before 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021. Bids will be opened at the August 23, 2021 meeting of the City Council. The sale shall be a cash sale pursuant to the terms of a Real Estate Contract prepared by the City. The property is being sold as is. Closing costs to be paid by the buyer.
Beginning at a found iron bar at the Southwest Corner of the North 14.89 acres of the Southwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 11 North, Range 2 East, of the 3rd P.M., Shelby County Illinois, per county Survey record book 2 page 344; thence North 00°24’38” East, 34.56 feet on the West line of said Section 30 to an iron pin set; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 95.00 feet; thence along said curve a chord distance of 82.69 feet and chord bearing South 71°01’17” East to an iron pin set, being the end of curve #1; thence North 88°36’16” East, 187.63 feet to an iron pin set; thence South 02°29’06” West, on a line parallel to the East side of Delbert Cox’s garage to an iron pin set; thence North 89°28’35” West, 23.55 feet to an iron pin found; thence North 00°22’19” East, 185.49 feet to a set iron pin on the South line of the North 14.89 acres of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 30; thence North 89°29’07” West, 235.00’ on said South line to the point of Beginning, containing 0.19 acres more or less.
