As long as the editor or whoever chooses the speak out content continues we will apparently have left wing editorial type pieces in it. Give us a break ED. Those long boring filibuster rants are not being read. Bi-partisanship never hurt anyone…Is there no one there who can set aside their politics?
(Ed. reply: I was contem-plating how to respond to you as I picked my jaw up from the floor. My Mother and my Journalism professors told me never to assume anything, but I am going to make an exception in your case. I can only assume you only like to read your own Speak Out’s you submit, because if you read all of the them, you would know there is a great diversity of opinion – albeit mainly on one extreme or the other. This would reflect in the poll numbers ran on the front page of today’s newspaper. This column was never intended to run- down a person based on their opinions and it certainly has turned into that in a lot of situation – not all – but many. This needs to stop.)
Such Good Shape
Dear Shame on You: “Where have you been if You think the Country was in great shape when Trump left office? In his last year in office we lost 350,000 souls to Covid while he was telling people to reject getting vaccinated and refused to water a mask. The Economy and Stock Market had gone into free fall and unemployment was the highest in decades. The Capitol was attacked at his goading and five people died. He was reportedly giddy at the support his mob was showing while watching it on on television in the Oval Office and refusing to call off his mob. Gas prices had gone down during the pandemic because everyone was on lockdown from the Covid surge he helped make worse. The gas pipeline shutdown you mention was a computer hack and had zero to do with President Biden. Gas prices are about the same as they were before Covid and went back up as the result of increased demand as the Country returned to normal. And you’re calling ME a dimwit? My Grandpa always said, “Those who live in glass houses should- n’t throw stones.” Just sayin.
