be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Taylorville Fire Protection District AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following budget, containing an estimate of revenue and expenditures, be and the same hereby is adopted as the budget for said Taylorville Fire Protection District for the Fiscal year beginning June 1, 2021, and ending May 31, 2022.

- Approximate cash on hand at beginning
of year (unrestricted) $311,179.79
- Approximate cash on hand at beginning
of year (restricted) $1,129.10
- Approximate amount of levy to be received
for previous fiscal year $160,461.35
- TFPD Foreign Fire Insurance Fund $5,830.20
- First National Bank of Pana line of credit loan proceeds
to purchase fire/rescue squad vehicle $200,000.00
- CNB Certificate of Deposit on hand (Unrestricted) $14,22.63

(e) Membership dues, clothing, convention
expenses for Illinois Association of
Fire Protection Districts, travel & misc. expenses $8,000.00
(f) General Liability Insurance and Directors
and Officers Liability . $4,500.00
(g) Audit $1,500.00
(h) Computer maintenance expenses $500.00
subtotal $42,500.00
- Fire Equipment and Supplies Funds
(a) Future payment and/or loan payments
for purchase of fire/rescue squad vehicle $250,000.00
(b) Periodic loan payments – 2020 Pierce Enforcer
Rescue -Pumper fire engine truck $32,000.00
(c) Training/Academy expenses $7,500.00
(d) Operating supplies $7,500.00

- Contingency
For miscellaneous and contingent general
expenses unforeseen and not included in
any of the above items $ 40,000.00

Section 2: That the several amounts set opposite the several objects and purposes listed hereafter are hereby appropriated to defray necessary expenses and liabilities of the Taylorville Fire Protection District for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2021 and ending May 31, 2022 for the purpose for which appropriations are made and amounts appropriated for the various objects and purposes being as follows:
- Administrative Expense Fund
(a) Publication, printing, postage, maps

Section 3: This Ordinance shall be known as Ordinance 2021-TFPD-01 and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
ON MOTION DULY MADE AND SECONDED, and pursuant to roll call vote, this Ordinance was passed, approved, and adopted by a unanimous affirmative vote of the Board of Trustees of Taylorville Fire Protection District on July 21, 2021.

I further certify that the above and foregoing document constitutes a true and correct copy of Ordinance 2021-TFPD-01 of said Fire Protection District duly passed, approved, and adopted on July 21, 2021, the original of which remains on file in my office.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance 2021-TFPD-01, including the Ordinance and cover sheet thereof was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the City of Taylorville’s Municipal Hall, commencing July 22, 20211, and continuing for at lest ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public inspection upon request in the Office of the City Clerk.
