TAYLORVILLE — The annual Taylorville Municipal Band Children’s Concert will be held at the Christian County Historical Society on East Route 29 in Taylorville tonight, Wednesday, July 28, at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The Children’s Concerts were designed to feature music that would be especial- ly enjoyed by the children in the audience, and often showcased the youngest Municipal Band members and/or talented young special guests.
Tonight, the first 50 chil- dren to arrive will receive a rhythm percussion gift that will allow them to play with the percussion section on some special features.
The Christian County Historical Society will once again have strawberry shortcake and some other refreshments available
