West Central Mass Transit District (WCMTD) is seeking proposals for Annual Financial Statement Audits conducted in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) for FY 2021, 2022 and 2023.
WCMTD is a governmental agency providing demand response public curb-to-curb transportations services in Morgan, Scott, Brown, Pike, Cass and Schuyler counties in west-central Illinois. The District is funded through federal and state grants, fare box receipts, and local contributions.
All required information for the completion of the audit will be available on or before September 1, 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively and must be submitted to the Board of Trustees for approval on or before the 17th of November each year.
Written proposals are due by the end of business on Friday, August, 2021 and may be mailed, emailed or dropped off at the Transit District Office at 1120 W. Walnut St., Jacksonville, Illinois 62650
