MT. AUBURN — The annual Bradley Allison Memorial Soap Box Derby returns to the Picnic on Saturday, August 7, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Weigh-In and Inspection will start at noon at the starting ramp.
All cars subject to approval of committee. Committee decisions will be final.

The rules for making your own derby car are as follows:
Homemade and Two Classes Kit
STOCK CLASS:
1. Maximum wheel width 36 inches
2. Maximum wheel base 60 inches
3. Wheel size 3 inches thru 12 inches diameter
4. Maximum weight with- out driver – 120 lbs.
5. No added weight allowed
6. Pneumatic tires not allowed
7. Only non-bearing or ball bearing wheels
8. Cars must be enclosed 9. No windshields allowed
10. Towing attachment on front and rear of car
11. Homemade body and frame only
DRIVER QUALIFICA- TIONS:
1. Boys and girls 8-14
2. Must wear helmet and full length trousers
3. No multiple drivers per car
OPEN CLASS:
1. Maximum wheel width 36 inches
2. Maximum wheel base 80 inches
3. Wheel size – no limit
4. Maximum weight with- out driver – 175 lbs.
5. Added weight allowed
6. Pneumatic or solid tires allowed
7. Any type wheel bear- ings allowed
8. Cars must be enclosed
9. No windshields allowed
10. Towing attachment on front and rear of car
11. Homemade body and frame only
DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Boys and girls 8-18
2. Must wear helmet and full length trousers
3. No multiple drivers per car
4. Adults must be present with children to help load car
