Skateboarding
Here’s a a way to settle the skateboard situation! Use the money it would take to build a skateboard park to fix the bike trail. That would allow them to skate back and forth to Pana. Nice smooth long pavement, private and would settle the issue.

1. The economy was already humming after Obama’s eight years when Trump took office. 2. Unemployment was low. 3. He created the Big Lie because he’s a cry baby megalomaniac who can’t stand to lose. 4. There was no steal. Biden got 7 million more votes because people were fed up with Trumps non stop lies, immorality and threat to Democracy. 5. Trump and company created and called for the March turned insurrection on the Capitol to try to illegally over throw the election and thus the US Government in an attempted Coup. He’s a Traitor and those who con- tinue to support him are as well. There I said it. Sometimes the Truth hurts. But truth will set you free.
Thank Health Office
I just want to take a minute to shout out to the Christian County Public Health Office. They came over to Kincaid to give folks their second covid vaccine. It was as different was night and day from the first vaccine. Greeted with a smile, and were so polite. Talked to us, apologized for having to make us fill out the paperwork a second time .Was not their fault the other people didn’t send the first paperwork to them. I did not even feel my shot. Just such a pleasant encounter. Just want to say Jane and Randy, you are very good at your job, and thank you for your service!
Good grief
So, if the editor decided to remove the Speak Out section from the paper they are taking away your freedom? Oh, good grief!!! I believe this is a privately run paper and the editor has the right to choose was is and is not printed in !! If Speak Out is removed, you still have every right to submit your thoughts or they just now will have to be signed! In my opinion, there are a few people abusing this section of the paper. They insist on arguing over their political ideas and of course they are never going to change anyone’s mind. They just like to see their ideas printed in the paper without having to take ownership of them. I think the Speak Out section could be greatly improved by limited the political fighting that goes on between the Dems and Republicans. Instead, let’s focus on LOCAL issues! Have you has a good experience with a local business – write in about it! Did a neighbor (or a stranger) do a good deed for you? Write in about it! Do you have a question about something going on in your town? Write in and ASK! And perhaps the editor would like to consider going back to one of the original rules – submissions are to be limited to 100 words! My belief is that these ideas would make for a much better Speak Out Section.
Keep Speak Out
When wondering if speak out should continue, I think it should, until I read blatant false statements like the “it’s a Shame” letter. The writer says get the facts straight then goes right into lies. The economy was humming the last few years of Obama’s term with millions of jobs added. Trump’s pres- idency continued this trend. Look it up. They then continue with another lie that there was no hacking while Trump was president. Easily disproved. Just Google “solarwinds”. Look it up. He told the crowd to “march in front of the ‘Capitol’ and that was all”. He never said such a thing in those words. He did say so much more . Can’t wait until the behind the scenes conversations between him and other Republicans on the day and before are revealed. Transcripts of his speech are easily researched. Look it up. Lastly, over 400,000 died during his Presidency. His FAULT? He sure did not sound like a leader during this very clear crisis. So do I think speak out should continue? It is sure as fun to read but when easily debunked things constantly are written such as the election was stolen (even now, documents have come to light that Trump tried to get the DOJ to say the election was corrupt and he will take care of the rest. What does this tell ya?), Keystone pipeline build shutdown and Biden causing rising fuel prices( no economist says this is true, covid misinformation, open borders, etc etc etc then I think for the greater good, the S.O. should be laid to rest. And to the “it’s a shame” writer, mommy should take away your internet for awhile.
