TAYLORVILLE — The Christian County Health Department has reported 4 deaths in Christian County over the past 10 days, attributable to the Covid-19 virus. This brings the overall death total in Christian County to 100.
The 4 deaths were: a 92 year old male; a 67 year old male; a 56 year old male; and a 32 year old female.
The Christian County Health Department urges everyone to increase their diligence in practicing social distancing and avoiding large crowds when possible. As positive cases and deaths have been increasing, the Christian County Health Department encourages extra precautions when in close proximity to those with underlying health concerns. Due to the likely presence of the new Covid-19 variant in Christian County, caution should be taken for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated.
