PANA — Pana residents will be able to bring trash for disposal free of charge on Saturday, Aug. 6, at the city’s Street Department Building, 604 Elm St. Hours are 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, or until all the dumpsters are full.
The event is being sponsored by the city of Pana and Pana Pride.
Local residents are only qualified for this service. Driver’s licenses will be check at the lot. No truck larger than a three-quarter ton vehicle will be allowed.
No paint or electronics (TV’s computers, stereos, etc.) can be accepted.
Residents can schedule a pickup today, Thursday, by calling 562-3242 and items will be picked up by Pana Pride volunteers on Friday, Aug. 6.
