NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING

 

There will be a Public Hearing before the Board of Appeals on Monday, August 23, 2021 starting at 7:00 P.M in the Council Chambers (Second Floor) of the Municipal Building, 115 North Main Street, Taylorville, Illinois.

 

The purpose of the Public Hearing beginning at 7:00 P.M. is to consider the request of Fred McKinnon to build a 24X24 garage on his property located at 929 West Vine, legally described as:

 

Lot 9 in Block 5 in Armstrongs Addition Extended, Taylorville, IL

(PIN 17-13-27-105-001-00)

 

The purpose of the Public Hearing beginning at 7:05 P.M. is to consider the request of Shamshir Sargodhia to build a 16X46 Accessory Building on his property located at 1209 North Cheney St, legally described as:

 

Parcel 1: A Part of Outlot 16 of City Park Out Lots, according to the Plat thereof recorded March 18, 1915 in Plat Book 2 Page 11, described as follows:

 

Beginning on the East Line of Said Out Lot 16 at a Point 115.40 Feet North of the Southeast corner of said Outlot and deflecting to the Left 88 Degrees 51 Minutes a distance of 323.67 Feet to a pipe: thence deflecting to the Right 87 Degrees 29 Minutes a distance of 296 Feet to a pipe; thence deflecting to the right 92 Degrees 31 Minutes a distance of 218 Feet to a pipe; thence deflecting to the right 87 Degrees 49 Minutes a distance of 140.94 Feet to a pipe; thence deflecting to the Left 87 Degrees 49 Minutes a distance of 110 Feet to the East Line of Said Out Lot 16; thence deflecting to the Right 88 Degrees 51 Minutes a distance of 155 Feet to the place of beginning, situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 13 North, Range 2 West of the Third Principal Meridian, Christian County, Illinois.

Beginning at an Iron Pipe marking the Southeast Corner of Said Out Lot 16: thence South 89 Degrees 50 Minutes 54 Seconds West, a distance of 323.70 Feet to a found Iron Pin; thence North 01 Degrees 29 Minutes 41 Seconds West, A distance of 115.31 Feet to a found Iron Pin; thence North 89 Degrees 50 Minutes 03 Seconds East, a distance of 323.67 Feet to a found Iron Pin; thence South 01 Degree 30 Minutes 37 Seconds East, a distance of 115.39 Feet to the Point of Beginning, situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 13 North, Range 2 West of the Third Principal Meridian, Christian County, Illinois. This meeting will take place at the above-designated time or at such other adjourned date as the Board may announce at said meeting.

 

This Notice is being published in accordance with the Taylorville Zoning Ordinance in order that interested persons may attend the Public Hearing.
