Dear Editor,
Having grown up in Springfield, I thought that I lived in a small town. Only ever visiting Taylorville for sports when I was little and then again in high school, I never realized how tight- knit this community was. Not only Taylorville, but Pana, Edinburg, Kincaid, and Morrisonville as well. All of Christian County has been so great to me and my family for these past four years.
My time at the Breeze has ended but I wanted to say thank you to everyone that I’ve come in contact with whether it has been the athletes, coaches, or community members that I have had the pleasure of meeting along the way. My new position will be in Springfield, so I will hopefully still be able to pop by and say hello, but I just wanted to say thank you.
As much as this is a goodbye, hopefully this is a see you later.
