KINCAID — A small group of Midland residents recently formed a non-profit Community Club for the Midland area with plans to bring the Midland area closer together and bring revenue in the area.
The club members meet at least once a month to discuss plans and events. “To make the events success- ful, we need teamwork We would like to invite the residents of Midland to attend meetings and join the club,” said President Denise Evans.
So far, they’ve hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at the Kincaid Park, Midland Area Garage Sales and a raffle for a large all terrain ride and 50/50 raffles.
Upcoming events include Midland Area Garage Sales/Flea Market September 18-19, movies in the park,
All Terrain Ride on October 9th, 50/50 raffles, Holiday Bazaar at American Legion November 20th, Santa Wonderland and Shop with a Cop in December, as well as a Midland Picnic in 2022.
Officers include: Denise Evans President, Angie Wanger Secretary and Barb Garner Treasurer.
