Submission
May I ask why you have taken away the ability to submit a SpeakOut via the website if you aren’t a subscriber? I think even your non-subscribers have valuable opinions and insight which the previous owner/editor actively sought out. Thank you for keeping the BC going.
(Ed. Note: If you go to the home page of the Breeze- Courier website, there is a drop down menu bar at the far right of the screen which is titled, “Forms.” Click on the menu bar and go down to Speak Out. At the very bottom of the page is an area to submit a Speak Out. I was not logged in and tried it myself and found it to work very easily.)
Missing something?
I am puzzled. Many people in this country do not want the vaccine in their body. However, many of them don’t seem to have any trouble with alcohol; junk food; energy drinks; over -the-counter medicines and beauty products; nutritional supplements that are exempt from approval the the FDA; tobacco; marijuana; every cotton-pickin’ drug advertised on tv as soon as they hear the ad; tattoo needles and ink; etc. What am I missing here?
One side
I agree with Small Claims.
You can only read one side of the story. The person sued does not have the ability to defend themselves.
Under a rock
Surprise must live under a rock!! Democrats we???re the ones who wanted Gov.
Cuomo to resign!! Let???s talk about a crooked, arrogant Republican President who bragged about grabbing women by the genitals and cheating on not one but 3 wives. Still , the immoral Republican Party defended him. Nothing surprises me about this ignorant submission. Get a grip.
Health issue
It’s too bad people are confused with the health issue of mask wearing mandates. This is strickly a means to combat a disease. It does not effect any rights given in the Bill of Rights to the Constitution. In fact, the preambles of both the U. S. and Illinois constitutions refere to promoting “the general welfare” (US) and in the Illinois constitution, “To provide for the health, safety and welfare of the people.” Masks and vaccinations fill this need, nothing more, nothing less. The frustration is understandable. I have not talked to one person who is happy about wearing a mask. But by the same token this seems to be a small price to pay in order to defeat this virus.
