Brian Thomas Nisinger

Brian Thomas Nisinger, 59 of Taylorville formerly of Jamestown, N.C. passed away on Monday,
August 16, 2021 at 7:53 a.m. at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Ill. He was born on June
7, 1962 in Peru, Ind. the son of Harold Nisinger and Judy (Ashmore) Mast. He married Cynthia Wantland on October 30, 2010 in Jamestown, N.C. He worked as a network engineer, was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was very involved in the Jamestown Summit Church, volunteering his time and expertise.

He is survived by his wife: Cynthia Nisinger of Taylorville, Ill.; daughters: Victoria Nisinger of Cleveland, N.C., Anna Tippett of Taylorville, Ill.; son: Keith Tippett of Chicago, Ill.; parents: Harold Nisinger and Judy Mast; sisters: Angela Oleson of Decatur, Ill., Leeanne Atterberry of Chatham, Ill.; parents-in-law: Keith and Dixie Wantland of Taylorville, Ill.; nieces and nephews: Brittany Oleson, Kelsey Oleson, Evan Oleson, Jessica Atterberry, Skylar Kovach. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with military honors and Pastor Stan Pratt offici- ating. Interment will be held at a later date.
