TAYLORVILLE — At Tuesday night’s County Board meeting, a motion was unanimously passed to allow the sale of delin- quent property. A motion to sale 7.48 acres on County Highway 5 was unanimously passed as well. Once the board starts advertising the land, they will start accepting bids.
The board voted and approved the appointment of Taylorville Fire Chief Matt Adermann to the 911 Board. Ron McKavetz will fill the remaining term of Jerry Young, which expires in 2026.
A motion was passed to pay $1200 to clean the glass on the dome in the Court House. The board passed a motion to obtain bids for the removal of one stump and trimming of 8 trees on the Court House lawn.
