AUBURN — With a 10- hit attack, the Taylorville Junior High School base- ball team posted a 13-3 win over Auburn on Monday. It was a five- inning contest.
Leading 8-2 after 4 innings, Taylorville exploded for 5 runs int he top of the fifth to take a 13-2 lead. Auburn scored one more run in the bot- tom of the inning to make the final, 13-3.
Fallon Turner went 3- for-3 with 2 RBI’s. Patrick Curtin had 2 hits with 2 RBI’s. Brock Brown dou- bled and drive in 2 runs.
Brayden Hughes was the winning pitcher going all five innings. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits. Hughes struck out 6 and walked 3.
