Bonnie L. Stahr, 95, of Taylorville, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Taylorville Care
Center.

Bonnie was born on March 18, 1926, in Millington, Tenn., the daughter of Joseph J. and Mary (Porter) Price. She was a member of Taylorville Christian Church and former member of the Eastern Star. Bonnie worked in production at Sangamon Card Company before retiring. She married Edward Stahr, Jr, in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1988.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Phil) Lyerla of Taylorville; grandchildren: Tracie (Mark) Butler, Tammy (Kenny) Bandy and Toni (Robbie) Johnson; great-grandchildren: Kalie and Emily Butler, Jeffrey Waterman, Hanna Waterman, and Macie Johnson; step-grandson, Ryan Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight siblings.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 9:30 am, until the service time of 10:30 am, at Taylorville Christian Church, 1124 N. Webster St, Taylorville, Ill. 62568. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery, Palmer, Ill. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
