TAYLORVILLE — The Taylorville Tornadoes senior football players were honored in pre-game cerimonies prior to the start of the Taylorville-Mt. Vernon football game Friday night. The seniors are, from left, Luke Durbin, Kamren Heimsness, Jaden Mathon, Kobe Long, Karter Ostermeier, Gage Rusher, Jackson Myers, Aaron Corso, Hunter Gerlick and Joe Lyons. (Not Pictured: Eric Provines) The Tornadoes got the season started off on the right foot with a 13-0 shutout of the visiting Rams. See game details on Page 11.
