The police and sheriff departments get a lot of criticism. That’s not what this is about. We had a grandbaby (3years old) climb under the bed with her stuffed animals. She was totally out of it. Her younger sister (only 2 with an imagination) made up a story that she had gone for a walk, even describing what she put on. Of course mom and dad searched the house, every nook and cranny hollering her name very loudly. She didn’t hear them. So they called family in to help and called the Sheriff’s department for help. A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE RESPONSE TIME OF THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT, A NUMBER OF FIRE DEPARTMENTS (They were on the way with drones and IR equipment because they live surrounded by corn fields). I decided to tear up the house looking in desperation. I LOOKED HARD under the bed and did not see her. I went to the other side of the room and banged into the bed just hard enough it rattled her and she woke up in a start, gazed from the hard sleep, she came to grandpa and she just hugged me tight. We started hollering for everyone, and sending out mass calls of finding her. I AM AMONGST SEVERAL HAPPY AND RELIEVED MEMBERS OF A FAMILY THAT ARE PROUD WE HAVE THESE MEN AND WOMEN WHO DROPPED EVERYTHING TO FIND A BABY GIRL. TO THE POLICE, SHERIFF, FIRE DEPARTMENT AND MORE…THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS OF JUST BEING THERE TO HELP!!!
Hypocrisy
Our anti-vaccine friends are so openly loud and proud of their convictions, even now with the deadly Delta variant which just took the life of a young Texas boy who had absolutely no underlying conditions. Why is there a successful black market for counterfeit COVID cards? It’s the height of hypocrisy. You can make your own decisions on misinformation, but do you have the right to jeopardize the lives of your children, loved ones and friends? I pray none of you face regret the rest of your life.
