The Central A & M Raiders defend their home court for the second straight night, up against the Argenta-Oreana Bombers. This would be neck and neck throughout the entire match. The Bombers took game one, 27-25 and the Raiders clawed their way back on top in game two, 25-15. The visiting team took the swing game in a nail biter, 25-20.
Senior Marissa Snearly was an all around team player in this match-up. The Raider having a huge night with 17 digs and 13 assists. Junior Julia Corzine would too have a night. The hometown right side hitter finished with 8 kills. It would’nt be enough though as the Raiders find themselves even on the sea- son, sitting at 2-2.
The Central A & M Raiders hosted the Pawnee Indians for their first home volleyball match of the 2021season. This match went the distance taking all three games to find a win- ner on Monday night. The Raiders would ultimatley take the victory, winning two out of the three, 25-13 and 25-14.
Divvying up the ball allowed for multiple offen- sive threats. Both senior Marissa Snearly and junior Julia Corzine accounting for 2 aces and 6 kills each, pushing the momentum in their favor plenty of times
in the contest with essential scoring runs in the contest.
On the defense for Central A & M Alana Harlow comes up big with 7 digs.
Central A & M will take on the Pana Panthers in Pana on Thursday night.
