PANA — Oak Terrace was host to a triangular boys and girls golf meet on Tuesday. The boys hosted Altamont and Hillsboro while the girls took on Staunton and Vandalia.
In the boys portion of the meet, sophomore Ryan Karbach was Pana’s medal- ist with a 42. Austin Karbach carded a 48. Teammates Jaxon Rhodes and Owen Spracklen each recorded 54’s with Griffin Kimbrel posting a 57. Tyler Beyers had a 57.
Altamonte led the way with a team score of 160 and Hillsboro followed with a171. Pana had a team score of 198.
On the girls side, Pana fin- ished with a team score of 241 to place second. Staunton finished with a 219 for first place and Vandalia was third, 259.
Pana was led by senior Ellie Kuhn with a 53 and Kassie Weideman followed with a 56. Madison Clark ended up with a 67 and Claire Osborn shot a 67. Kirsten Cravens ended up with a 73.
On Thursday, the boys team plays host to Meridian and Greenville while the girls entertain Williamsville, Taylorville and Gillespie.
