Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Fourth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Amanda Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Sept. 2, 2021:
James M. Assad, armed robbery/no firearm; felon possession/use of a weapon; and aggravated battery in a public place, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 23, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. Jury trial is scheduled for Dec. 6, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
Pre-trial for a petition to revoke probation for Abigail D. Brest, possession of meth between five and 15 grams, was continued until Oct. 14, 2021.
Tiffany M. Burke, possession of meth five grams or less and unauthorized use of food stamps between $150 and $1,000 and theft less than $500, had a court appearance and pre-trial was set for Sept. 24, 2021.
Pre-trial for Danielle L. Cunningham, 19, possession of meth five
grams or less, was continued until Oct. 14, 2021 for presentation of a possible plea agreement.
Kenneth C. Damery, 19CF386, residential burglary, had pre-trial continued until Oct. 14, 2021, for presentation of a possible plea agreement.
Leanna M. Grissom, 20CF89, arson with damage more than $150, had pre-trial continued until Oct. 14, 2021.
Status on a preliminary hearing for Matthew W. Hoover, 21CF215, criminal damage to property between $500 and $10,000 was continued until Sept. 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In addition there were pre-trials in three felony cases, including 21CF188, pos- session of meth five grams or less and a pre-trial for a petition to revoke probation in 18CF124, obstruct- ing identification, which were all continued until the same date.
Donald R. Johnson, Jr., 21CF55, possession of meth five grams or less, waived preliminary hearing and formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre- trial is Oct. 28, 2021. In addition, there was pre- trial in possession of meth five grams or less, which was continued until the same date.
Mitchell R. Neece, two counts of aggravated battery with intent to do great bodily harm, had bond date and outstanding fines and fees sent to collections.
Notices to appear for John S. Reynolds, possession of meth between 15 and 100 grams meth delivery five grams or less, was continued until Oct. 28, 2021.
Brian K. Sisk, two counts of meth delivery five grams or less and possession of meth five grams or less
and driving with a revoked/suspended license, had final pre-trial set for Nov. 23, 2021 with jury trial on Dec. 6, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
Pre-trial for Derik W. Steck, 20CF307, meth delivery between five and 15 grams, was continued until Nov. 23, 2021. Jury trial is set for Dec. 6, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.
Larissa D. Swisher, 21CF105, possession of a controlled substance, pled guilty in a negotiated settlement of the case. The defendant waived preliminary hearing and formal arraignment and was placed on first offender probation for two years. Fines and fees total $3,715.
