Court appearances

Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Sept. 3, 2021:

Dalton L. Allen, 20CF292, aggravated battery with intent to do great bodily harm, had a bond forfeiture hearing con- tinued for pre-trial on Sept. 27, 2021.

Status hearings for Jesse R. Austin, 20CF63, impersonating a firefighter and 20CF78, possession of a stolen vehicle, was continued until Oct. 1, 2021.

Sidney L. Bunch, 21CF253, waived preliminary hearing and formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre-trial is Oct. 28, 2021.

Pre-trial for Clarence D. Coghlan, 19CF311, posses- sion of meth five grams or less, was continued until Oct. 19, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. for final pre-trial. Jury trial is Nov. 1, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

Scarlet D. Farlow had bond forfeiture hearings in 18CF171, possession of meth five grams or less and 21CF174, possession of meth five grams or less and they

were dismissed. Public Defender Tiffany Senger was allowed to withdraw from he case due to a conflict. Conflict’s Public Defender Greg Grigsby was appointed counsel and first appearance with counsel is Oct. 18, 2021.

Status hearing for Scott F. George, 21CF142, aggravated battery of a peace officer and disorderly conduct, was con- tinued for pre-trial on Oct. 1, 2021.

Keirsty M. Hughes, 19CF248, possession of meth five grams or less and posses- sion of a controlled sub- stance, had pre-trial contin- ued until Oct. 1, 2021.

Cierra S. Little, 19CF369, burglary and theft between $10,000 and $100,000, had pre-trial continued until Oct. 17, 2021. A notice to appear will be sent.

Status of preliminary hearing for Quentin J. McKittrick, 21CF187, two counts of pos- session of a stolen vehicle; two counts of aggravated flee- ing police; and two counts of criminal damage to property less than $500, was contin- ued for preliminary hearing on Oct. 20, 2021. In addition, there was pre-trial in 20CF318, possession of meth five grams or less, which was continued until the same date.

Joseph A. Moore, 20CF7,

possession of a controlled substance; manufacture/delivery of cocaine between 15 and 100 grams; and possession of cocaine between 15 and 100 grams, had bond forfeiture hearing was continued until Oct. 15, 2021 for pre-trial.

Pre-trials in four felony cases for Jeffery R. Moreland, including 21CF94, driving with a revoked/suspended license, resulted in bond being reduced to $10,000 (10% cash applies). Pre-trial was set for Oct. 28, 2021.

Melissa N. Orstead, 21CF176, obstruction of jus- tice and two counts of caus- ing child to be endangered, had status hearing continued for pre-trial on Oct. 13, 2021.

Status hearings for Richard C. Shivers, 21CF19, posses- sion of meth five grams or less and 21CF145, possession of meth five grams or less, was continued until Oct. 1, 2021 for a rule to show cause hearing.

Robert T. Tobin, 20CF247, three counts of possession of child pornography, had pre- trial continued until Oct. 22, 2021.

Michael D. White, 20CF137, possession of meth five grams or less and driving with a revoked/suspended license, had pre-trial contin- ued until Oct. 22, 2021.
