David Michael Hart

David Michael Hart, 78 of Taylorville passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 12:49 a.m. at his home in Taylorville, Ill. He was born on July 1, 1943 in Granite City, Ill. the son of Jack and Mildred (Bridges) Hart. He married Linda Newberry on April 20, 1991 in Taylorville, Ill. Dave worked as a laborer for the Decatur Laborers Union.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Hart of Taylorville, IL; daughter: Angel (Alan) Mann of Taylorville, Ill., Kristen (Doug) Littrel of Florida, Chandra Hart of Staunton, Ill.; Sons: David (Lori) Hart of Taylorville, Ill.; Jason Newberry of Taylorville, Ill.; grandchildren: Justin, Josh, Erica, Robert, Candace, Shane, Tori, Jordan, and Courtney; sisters: Dawn, Jackie and Bell; brother: Mark Hart; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers: Joe and Steve, Sister: Carolyn, Grandson Brandon and Several Aunts and Uncles.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
