Pana High School golf results

The boys golf team of Pana High School was third in a meet among five teams on Tuesday at Timber Lakes Golf Course near Staunton.

Carlinville was the top team with a 163 score and Staunton had a round of 186 in second place. Pana fired a 197 with Mt. Olive at 216, fourth. Paisa Southwestern got a 230.

For the Panthers, Austin Karbach was medalist with a 43 over the par-36 layout. Jaxon Rhodes was right behind with a 44 and Owen Spracklen had a round of 53. Jacob Dorn shot a 57.

The girls golf team hosted Raymond Lincolnwood and Decatur Eisenhower at Oak Terrace and the won the triangular meet with a score of 238. Lincolnwood had a 250 total and Eisenhower only had 3 golfers.

Ellie Kuhn posted a 58 for medalist honors and Kassie Wewideman and Kirsten Cravens each had 59’s. Claire Osborn ended up with a 62 and Grace Fitzpatrick had a 72.

The Pana boys and girls teams are hosting Ramsey and Central A & M today at Oak Terrace at 4:00 p.m.
