THS girls golf team at Rail G. C. Tuesday
SPRINGFIELD – Williamsville carded a team best 196 to outdistance the field in a girl’s quadrangular match at the Rail Golf Course Tuesday afternoon. Rushville was next with a 202 followed by Taylorville with a 224 and Lincoln’s 225.
The host Bullets’ Sophia Zinn was medalist with a 6-over-par 42 on the long 2,700 yard back nine at the Rail. The Tornadoes’ Morgan Wright shot her career best 48 followed by Sophia Robinson with a 50, Kaydee Prose 60, a pair of 66’s from the Lowis sisters, Hallie and Sydney, and Laura Wayman with a 69.
Taylorville was at Lakeshore today hosting Auburn and Rochester. The Tornadoes are on the road Thursday with a quad contest at Petersburg’s Shambolee Golf Course at 4 p.m.
