TAYLORVILLE — Mike Anderson, The Dulcimer Guy, will entertain at the Hysterical Historical Day on September 12, 2021, from 1 – 2 pm at the Christian County Historical Museum, from noon to 4 pm. Admission is free but a donation is appreciated.
Twinkles, the Clown will be greeting and making balloons from 12 – 1 pm.
Abraham Lincoln impersonator, David Nance, will be on the grounds and will present a program in the original Christian County Courthouse, where Abraham Lincoln heard cases; AT 2:15 PM.
Kay Frevert, school mistress, will have activities IN Buckeye School.
There will be Bee Keepers at the Bee Castle – Butter churning in the Log House – candle dipping, leather craft, duck and fish ponds, ring toss, sifting sand shell necklaces, lemon shake-up, root beer floates, strawberry shortcake and many other fun activities for both young and old for a fee.
Morrisonville Boy Scouts will serve Pork Chop and Pork Burger meal until sold out.
There will be a Pie Auction which has become a “big” event at CCHM; there are some really great “Pie Makers” and some pretty big “Pie Eaters”.
