Power of voting
Not too long ago the office of president of the united states was highly respected no matter which political party was represented. Now we are using our rights as citizens to constantly bereate our elected president. In the next national election remember this. A citizen of the united states will travel anywhere in the world to fight for democracy, but they will not walk across the road to vote in a national election. If you’re not happy with your president or any elected official, on election day walk across the road and honor those who have made the sacrifice to preserve democracy.
Remember animals
I wish there was a truck headed to Louisiana to deliver food and water to the animal shelters for the dogs and cats that were rescued after the hurricane. Afterall, they are victims, too. If a truck happens to come, I would be happy to make some donations. I’m an animal lover and I care about the animal’s well being.
Mask mandate
Vision Way school board and administrator, it was so considerate of you to put your own agenda first and not even consider the safety of your students or staff when deciding not to mandate mask in school. Now that your students are disqualified from sports and band event participation did you even consider how they would feel about your decision? Did you even bother to ask your staff or students their opinion about masks? I think we both know that answer. Is it easy wearing a mask all day? NO but some of us have to and without complaining about it. Hope you do better with your next decision that affects others.
