DECATUR — Experience the changing seasons from the waters of Big Creek, during guided canoe trips with Macon County Conservation District staff. Canoe trips will be offered Saturday, September 18 and Saturday, October 9, from 1-3pm.
All equipment will be provided for canoeing, including canoes, paddles, and life vests. Participants should wear clothes that could get wet, and bring a hat and water. At least one adult required per canoe. $20/canoe. Must pre-register online by noon the day before the trip at MaconCountyConservation .org. Registered participants should meet at Cannon Park on South Baltimore Avenue, Decatur, Ill.
