Getting out
What’s up with the school district? Two board members bail out… Principals dog bites a student… another student gets hit by a car…special edu- cation is a cluster (Paying twice the amount as we should).. I heard some mis- allocation of funds is being investigated…teachers have bought their own brooms to clean their rooms since they don’t have custodians… Seems like a sinking ship… I can understand why the two board members quit.. Good time to get out.
Hospital journey
You’re in severe pain, waiting eight hours in the ER in a straight chair for an available bed. Finally you’re hooked to an IV for five days of antibiotics but still no bed. Then you get a bed in the ER (but no bathroom) and no promise of when a bed will be available because they’re all filled with Covid patients who refused to be vaccinated. This happened to a member of my family today. Thanks, anti-Vaxer’s! Sound fair?
Comment offended
I’m deeply offended by the person that said the Kincaid Lake looks like a trash dump. I took a drive out there today, and I couldn’t see why they said this. In fact, they are trying to clean it up more. There is a very big burn pile there, but that has been there for a very long time. They are working on getting it moved.
Seems ludicrous
That’s how far gone this is. This nation is divided and near a breaking point. Compared to the actual war that was fought over whether or not a human being should own another human being, this one seems ludicrous by comparison: we’re currently stretched thin because one orange-haired lunatic has fig- ured out how to weaponize a cult of personality and has an entire party in his thrall. The issues at stake? Keeping peo- ple from voting, allowing fas- cist foreign countries to med- dle in our elections, and — maybe the dumbest of them all — fighting for the right to die from a deadly virus (while infecting you and me and hoping that horse medicine is the cure). And it isn’t just Trump. It’s everyone from governors to first time candidates. He’s got them all on a string. They’re, as one, calling for “mass civil disobedience.” This Saturday. They’re using this to drive more people to rally around their most extreme act of disruption – and revisiting it all over again. They’re literally putting the fence back up around the Capitol this week for the latest insurrection attempt on Saturday. To be clear: We’re protecting the center of our government from our own people who would rather die of a virus than be forced to get vaccinated from it. The irony is not lost on us that they are refusing to get vaccinated and then joining a mass of people who are also not vaccinated – at the behest of actually-vaccinated Republican leaders. The stakes are getting higher – and they don’t care who they hurt – because that’s the point. It’s the divisive destruction they want.It doesn’t matter how loud they get. How many windows they smash. You heard the jarring testimony from the Capitol Police officers during the House hearings on Jan 6th. More is to come. If we all come together, the extreme right is not going to tear this country apart.
