50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hanauer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Bob and Ruth Ellen were married in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Taylorville, IL by Father Ben Myers. Margaret (Vogel) Ess and Mitchell Long were their attendants. They have lived in Stonington ever since their wedding. They are the parents of Mary Gail (Juan) Aleman of Russell Springs, Ky., Ruth Ann Vandemark (Ronald) deceased of Washington, Mo., and Robert G. Hanauer II (Krista) of Taylorville. They also have six grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
Lloyd and Louise Hanauer (deceased) and Earl and Dorothy Vogel (deceased) were the couple’s parents.
The couple will spend a quiet anniversary at home.
