Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Sept. 20, 2021: Pre-trial for a petition to revoke probation for Dennis L. Bertoni, 18CF140, aggravated domestic battery/strangle and domestic battery, was and the petition was withdrawn. Both sides agreed to extend the end of probation to Sept. 20, 2022.

First appearance with counsel for Andrew S. Carver, 21CF178, possession of meth five grams or less and theft of merchandise less than $300, resulted in preliminary hearing being set for Oct. 27, 2021.

Taylor J. Christian,

18CF36, theft of merchandise less than $300, had first appearance for a petition to revoke probation in which she denied the allegations in the petition. Pre-trial is Nov. 15, 2021.

Dalton C. Elder, 21CF20, possession of meth five grams or less and 21CF211, domestic battery and unlaw- ful restraint, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 16, 2021.

Austin L. Mayes, 21CF252, two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer and attempt to disarm peace officer, waived preliminary hear- ing and formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre-trial is Nov. 8, 2021.

First appearance with counsel for Megan L. Orange, 21CF203, posses- sion of meth five grams or less, resulted in a prelimi- nary hearing being set for Oct. 27, 2021.

Justin L. Price, 17CF196, possession of a controlled substance, had pre-trial con-

tinued for final pre-trial on Nov. 23, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. Jury trial is Dec. 6, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

Status of preliminary hearing for Jayce J. Rogers, 20CF263, aggravated battery of a peace officer, was continued until Nov. 12, 2021.

Jessica M. Ruiz, 20CF228, bad checks, had status hearing on preliminary hearing was continued until Oct. 29, 2021.

Pre-trial for Kyle G. Sheley, 19CF180, theft of merchandise less than $300, was continued until Oct. 29, 2021.

First appearance for Lester Ward, 21CF81, possession of meth five grams or less, resulted in the appointment of Public Defender Tiffany Senger as counsel. First appearance with counsel is Sept. 21, 2021.

James C. Williams, 20CF73, residential arson, had pre-trial was continued until Nov. 12, 2021.
