TAYLORVILLE — At last night’s City Council meeting, a motion was passed to rec- ommend to the City Council to direct City Attorney Romano to prepare an Ordinance to modify the City Code to change the overnight camping rates to $30.00 per night and $35.00 for holi- days, with the rate change taking effect at the start of the 2022 season.
An ordinance was passed that prohibits parking on the south side of West Park Avenue.
Attorney Romano said, according to Judici, Jamal Shehadeh has filed two more lawsuits against the city of Taylorville which makes 5 pending lawsuits against the city.
Motion to approve the five- year lease extension for the farm lease between the City of Taylorville and Ed Miller for $200.00 per acre per year.
