TAYLORVILLE—The Taylorville soccer team laced up their cleats and took off to Meridian to take on the Hawks. The Tornadoes came to play ball on Monday, snatching the victory right from the defending home team by a score of 4-2.
Taylorville had 29 shots on goal. Junior Luke Ellinger and senior Hunter Fry combined for 3 of Taylorville’s 4 goals. Senior Kole Buckley and junior Carter Thomas had a combined 19 saves.
The next game will be at Tornado alley against the Lincoln Railers. The following four games will be at home for the Taylorville Tornadoes.
