TAYLORVILLE — The Christian County Board meeting was held last night. The board announced Sheridan Pulley’s resignation from the Health Department. A motion was passed appointing Leslie Devore to the Health Department.
DJ Mathon spoke at the meeting regarding improvements the jail needs. Mathon asked that improvements be made and said that he talked to the board about this back in April and nothing has been done. Mathon said there’s no extra money for repairs.
The board voted to have the State’s Attorney look over President Biden’s COVID-19 mandate regarding employee testing and vaccinations so they can know what guidelines they need to follow.
