PHS boys golf finishes 1st; girls third on Wednesday

PANA—The Pana Girls Golf team held their 12th outing on Wednesday afternoon.

Out of the four competing teams the Panthers finished third with a score of 235. Taking first place for the girls side of things was Litchfield (192). Behind them came Staunton (218), Pana (235) and finishing fourth was Hillsboro (241). Fields is set to make his first start when the Bears visit the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The top girl golfer Ellie Kuhn. She had a final total of 49 points.

Also taking their talents out to Oak Terrace were the Pana Boys Golf team. The Panther boys won their quadrangular placing first place with a score of 185. Behind them and in second was Staunton (191), Gillispie (201) and North Mac (242). Top Golfer for the Pana Boys was Austin Karbach with a point total of 39.
