Donald G. Foor

Donald G. Foor, 81 of Taylorville, died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

Don was born on February 26,
1940, in Tower Hill, the son of
Clarence and Emma (Devorak) Foor.
He married Patricia Emrick on
October 1, 1991, in Shelbyville, and
she survives. Don preferred staying
busy and worked for Georgia Pacific
for 32 1/2 years, then for Kelly
Construction for almost 16 years
before retiring. At home, he enjoyed
working in the yard, spending time with his donkeys, always with his best dog friend, Sadie, near his side.

Don is survived by his wife, Pat Foor; daughter: Deanna Foor; stepsons: Richard Bush and William Fray; siblings: Robert Foor, John Foor, and Sandy Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sharon Allen.
