Court appearances

Published court appearances reflect the daily 10:00 a.m. criminal call and do not necessarily account for all felony proceedings heard that day. Christian County Resident Judge Brad Paisley presided over the following cases on Oct. 15, 2021:

Pre-trial for Dylan L. Carroll, 21CF153, driving with a revoked/suspended license, was continued until Dec. 2, 2021. In addition, there was pre-trial in 16CF204, criminal damage to government property, which was continued until the same date.

Drew M. Collins had pretrials in three felony cases including 20CF223, unlawful restraint and domestic battery, was continued until Dec. 3, 2021 for presentation of a possible plea agreement.

Pre-trial for Russell A. Crist, 21CF126, possession of meth five grams or less, was continued until Nov. 23, 2021.

David W. Frost, 20CF181, possession of a stolen vehicle, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 15, 2021 for presentation of possible plea agreement.

Brian R. Garrison, 20CF221, two counts of burglary, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 30, 2021 for a presentation of a possible plea agreement.

Hearing for Victoria J. Gray, 21CF235, possession of meth five grams or less, resulted in Public Defender Tiffany Senger being appointed counsel. First appearance with counsel is Nov. 22, 2021.

Brian M. Hays had pretrials in three felony cases including 20CF360, possession of meth five grams or less all continued until
Nov. 29, 2021.

Brad W. Houk, 20CF90, aggravated DUI/5, had pre-trial continued until Dec. 2, 2021.

Eric J. Klein, 20CF88, arson, had pre-trial and a motion to reduce bond continued until Oct. 22, 2021.

First appearance for a petition to revoke probation for Melissa D. Krouse, 19CF251, possession of meth five grams or less, resulted in the defendant denying the allegations set forth in the petition. Pre- trial is Dec. 16, 2021.

Heather L. Lee, 21CF213, burglary and 21CF121, driving with a revoked/suspended license, made first appearance with counsel and was continued until Dec. 2, 2021.

Joseph A. Moore, 20CF7, possession of a controlled substance; manufacture/delivery of cocaine between 15 and 100 grams; and possession of cocaine between 15 and 100 grams, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 23, 2021.

Pre-trials in three felony cases for Roger W. Nobles, Jr., including 21CF214, aggravated battery in a public place and criminal damage to government property less than $500, were continued until Nov. 29, 2021 for presentation of possible plea agreement.

Ashley N. Pratt, 21CF92, retail theft of merchandise more than $300, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 5, 2021 for presentation of possible plea agreement.

Pre-trial for a petition to revoke probation for Jeremy L. Saunders, 18CF198, possession of meth five grams or less, was continued until Dec. 17, 2021.

Jennifer J. Smith, 19CF133, aggravated fleeing police and obstructing identification and 19CF112, possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, had pre-trial continued until Nov. 23, 2021.

Tracy L. Stevens, 21CF9, possession of meth five grams or less and obstructing justice/destroying evidence, was dismissed upon a motion by the State.

Status of preliminary hearing for Damon J. Trumpy, 20CF288, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of meth five grams or less, resulted in the defendant waived his right to a preliminary hearing and formal arraignment and pled not guilty. Pre-trial is Dec. 3, 2021. In addition, there was pre-trial in 20CF278, possession of meth five grams or less, which was continued until the same date.
