Joseph Kovacs was traveling Westbound on Rt. 16 approximately 1/4 mile East of US 51 when a deer entered the roadway and struck the front end of the vehicle.

Alexander M. Harrison, 25, Springfield was involved in a two vehicle accident with Josh R. Ramey, 33, of Pana. Alexander was issued a citation for failure to yield-stop or yield at an intersection.
Robert L. Meek, 53, Pana, was driving south on the 400 block of N. Locust Street when his 2004 Chevrolet Impala left the roadway and struck 2002 GMC Sierra truck owned by Jason M. Swafford of Pana, that was parked in the driveway of 405 N. Locust St. Robert was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Mandy Christian and Jennifer Mathis were involved in a traffic crash in rural Pana Township. Christian was traveling southbound on 2600 East Road. Christian stated that she stopped at the stop sign for 250 North Road and stated that she saw Mathis traveling Eastbound on 250 North Road, but believed it was a four way stop intersection. Christian stated that she began to cross 250 North Road and was struck by Mathis. Mathis stated that she was Eastbound on 250 North Road when Christian pulled out in front of her. Mathis was unable to avoid striking Christian. Mathis was taken to Pana Community Hospital for minor injuries.
