I have some questions
Questions regarding the intent to withdraw from the NPT Cooperative effective July 1, 2022. (Nokomis, Pana, Taylorville Coop for Special Education children)
1. Where will the district get the qualified people to provide services? For example OT, PT, paras, ect.?
2. Where will the district get the money for equip- ment? And where will money come from?
3. Why do they think they can do it better alone with- out the help of the other districts?
Around and around
Well, heck, why not just close off Bidwell altogether during school days so NONE of us can get to one of the major grocery stores, just like has been done with Pawnee, so people have to drive around in circles to get into the therapy areas of the hospital. Maybe we can even close N Webster/Springfield Road so no one can drive around the high school either. Let’s not stop there, close down the Cheney/Springfield Road intersection too. What I don’t understand is all this street closing nonsense the day long and yet there is no attempt to do anything around Central School where pre-schoolers are in attendance.
Mask up, Folks!
The entire state is supposed to be under a mask mandate. You sure wouldn’t know it in Taylorville. Everywhere you go no mask ! Even the Mayor and the police aren’t wearing them! No wonder the numbers in this county are still climbing! You all should be ashamed of yourself
Shipping sky high
Freight costs have sky rocketed. The average global price of shipping a 40-foot container is now almost $10,000 — three times higher than at the start of the year and 10 times preTrump levels. Because the world has become so reliant on China for manufacturing, the current problems could last two years. These containers come in full and go back empty. Been doing it for 30 years. We let them give our jobs away and now we are paying for it. Just 3 more years and we will be destroyed as a country and then there is no turning back. I miss Donald.
