Doctors in waiting
When all these wanna-be infectious disease phD candidates get done with their “research” maybe we can all be vaccinated and finally put COVID behind us.
Another skate park locale
Why not the Christian County Fairgrounds?? Mostly unused property, and good location.
Plenty of flat space there..
After having covid a year ago (and really believing I might not make it) I have had issues with my lungs especially when anything is getting burned. Studies have shown burning leaves causes respiratory problems, as well as pollution in environment. Our city takes leaves, clippings, sticks etc for free. Why can’t our city ban burning within city limits? Why have these “burning weeks” which just makes the cloud of smoke even thicker for those who follow (although most just burn when they want anyway)? I understand it’s easier to burn. I get it, easier, what you’ve always done etc but now I’m making a plea. Pleading to anyone that has ever been unable to catch their breath, has covid aftereffects, other medical conditions, or has had to bring coughing children inside from playtime because neighbors /neighborhood were burning. Please do something at least this year! I’ve made inquiries, wrote emails, talked to many many people yet keep getting ignored. Why can’t Taylorville ban burning at least while there are so many still struggling with covid/ covid related issues?!?
To all of the hungry, food deprived people who counted on the food left outside on the shelves of the Taylorville Food Pantry to get by on, you can thank your Christian County Health Department for no longer allowing this to happen. It seems to me the person who did this really wants everyone to “Respect her Authority”. Guess the pigs will eat well from all the wasted food.
